Newly elected chairmen of two upazilas of Rajshahi take oath

Rajshahi Bureau: The Local Government Department, Rajshahi, has completed the oath-taking ceremony of 16 newly elected chairmen of Tanor-Godagari Upazila of Rajshahi district today. At this time, the Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi, Abdul Jalil, administered the oath to the newly elected chairmen.
On December 20 (Monday) at 5 pm, Deputy Commissioner Rajshahi's conference room was attended by Deputy Director of Local Government Department, Rajshahi, Shahana Akhter Jahan, who was present as the chief guest. After taking the oath, he introduced himself and exchanged greetings with the newly elected chairmen. In his brief speech, the chief guest congratulated all the newly elected chairmen, wished them all the best and called upon them to cooperate with the government for the overall development of the country.
District Facilitator Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, District Facilitator Md. Akter Hossain, Godagari Upazila Chairman Jahangir Alam were present at the time. Other officials of the Local Government Department, Rajshahi were also present.
