Own Reporter: A public awareness meeting on training workshops has been held among transport drivers, helpers and workers to maintain order on the highway, reduce accidents and ensure the safety of life and property. On Sunday, January 30, at 4 pm, at the initiative of the Kunderhat Highway Police Station of Bogra Region, Highway OC Anwar Islam addressed the drivers and workers on this public awareness at the Kunderhat bus stand on the Bogra-Natore highway. Highway OC Anwar Islam requested them to always be alert while using the highway and follow the instructions of the highway police. He also said that all three-wheelers including Nasimon-Karimon, Bhatbati, battery-powered autorickshaws-autovans, CNG, human haulers are the main cause of accidents on the highway. He discouraged them from plying on the highway. In addition, Highway OC Anwar Islam ordered the public to wear masks when going out of their homes in case of emergency to combat the Omicron virus. TSI Al Farooq, ASI Shariful Islam, Chhatra League leader Tanvir Islam Raju and local dignitaries were present at the public awareness meeting on training of drivers and helpers organized by the Kunderhat Highway Police.
