A mobile court has fined two traders under the Consumer Rights Protection Act in Nandigram, Bogra. On Sunday (March 20) afternoon, the mobile court of Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Shifa Nusrat fined the owner of a grocery store named Shishir Store at Nandigram Bus Stand Tk 1,000 and the owner of another grocery store named Shahadat Store Tk 1,000 under the Consumer Rights Act. The fine was imposed because the two grocery stores did not have price lists. In addition, the Upazila Executive Officer instructed everyone to sell daily necessities at the prices set by the government.
