When asked whether the party and the government are ‘united’ or not, Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘The party's activities are going on, it is going on in a small way. It took time to form the government in a month. Most of the people in the party have left the government and it will take time in those places.’ The government will do its work, the party will do its work.’
In the one-month assessment of the government, he said, ‘The biggest success is that we have started implementing the promises made before the elections. Farmers card will be given from Pahela Baisakh.’
But he also admitted to a problem. Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘When BNP comes to power, there is a problem each. This is the war of Iran. This war has caused a big problem with oil prices.’
‘The big challenge of ours is to heal the economy and bring it to the right path. The central bank has changed the governor and the policy has changed a bit. Small businessmen have started getting loans, economic activity is starting to increase,’ he said.’

Regarding the local government elections, he made it clear, ‘Even this year, there will undoubtedly be the local government elections this year. But I can't say for the time being. But this year it will be and it will be as soon as possible.’
Regarding Awami League, he said, ‘Awami League is now banned, it is closed, it will be closed. Awami League will try to do some work. But people have rejected them.’
