The Independence and National Day was celebrated with due dignity in Nandigram, Bogra. The day's program began with a 31-gun salute at sunrise on Saturday. Later, various organizations and institutions, including the upazila administration, placed wreaths at the Shaheed Minar.At 9 am, the upazila administration organized a parade and display by police, Ansar, fire service and various educational institutions at the Nandigram Munsur Hossain Degree College ground. At 12:30 pm, the reception ceremony for the freedom fighters was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Shifa Nusrat, and was addressed by Upazila Parishad Chairman Rezaul Ashraf Jinnah, Upazila Awami League President Anwar Hossain Rana, General Secretary Anisur Rahman, Vice Chairman Dulal Chandra Mahanta, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Raihanul Islam and Officer-in-Charge of the police station Anwar Hossain, among others.
