A man named Rezaul Hossain Eju (45) was killed after a tree branch fell on his head in a village in Nandigram upazila of Bogra. The first Kalboishakhi storm of the season swept over Nandigram upazila at around 4:30 am today, Wednesday (April 20). Rezaul Hossain alias Eju, who died in the storm, is the son of the late Eshar Uddin of Bhatgram in Nandigram upazila. Kamruzzaman, a member of Ward No. 8 of Bhatgram Union of the upazila, said that when the storm started in the early hours of the morning, Rezaul and his wife were working to raise a wooden house made of cow dung in the courtyard of their house. At that time, a thick branch of a Sajina tree flew in the storm and fell on Rezaul's head. He was seriously injured. He was taken to a local hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
