Upazila Governance and Development Project (UGDP) Local Government Department and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have organized freelancing training for 25 educated unemployed youth with the aim of creating self-employment. Freelancing training was held at the Upazila UITRCE Training Center on Monday (June 6) at 10 am. The program was inaugurated by Upazila Executive Officer Shifa Nusrat, while Upazila Chairman Rezaul Ashraf Jinnah spoke as the chief guest. Upazila Vice Chairman Dulal Chandra Mahanta, Women Vice Chairman Srabani Akhter Banu, Youth Development Officer Abdur Rouf, and others delivered welcome speeches. Later, the speakers discussed freelancing training among the training students. The inaugural class of the freelancing was conducted by District Youth Development Trainee Habib Hossain.
