Mamun Ahmed, (Staff Reporter) Nandigram Police Station has arrested 4 people in drug and women and children cases in a police operation in Bogra's Nandigram. According to information received from the police station, under the direction of Nandigram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Anwar Hossain, SI ATM Rafiqul Islam, SI Md. Rezaul Karim-1, SI Md. Tariqul Islam, ASI Md. Al Amin and ASI Md. Mamunur Rashid, along with a force based on secret information, arrested Md. Badsha Miya (43), father-deceased Abdul Khalek Sang-Nimgram, with 100 (one hundred) grams of marijuana from in front of Md. Mofiz Uddin's tea shop in Ningram village, Bhatgram UP, 5th No. 27 of Nandigram Police Station. A drug case has been registered against the accused earlier. On the other hand, SI Md. Nurul Islam and ASI Kazi Shahin Mia of Kumira Police Investigation Center, along with the force, based on secret information, arrested Shri Debnath (38), father-Shri Kashinath, Sang-Purba Bongram, Thana-Badalgachi, District-Naogaon, father-in-law-Shri Shukumar (60), father-deceased Sudhir, Sang-Haripur Chhota Dekra, Thana-Kahalu, District-Bogra, along with 50 (fifty) grams of ganja from the paved road at the intersection of four roads of Chaumahoni Bazar, Thalta Majhagram UP of Nandigram Police Station at approximately 9:30 pm. Later, on the same date, at approximately 8:45 pm, they arrested Md. Nurul Islam (30), father-Md. Tamij Uddin, of Harihara village, Thalta Majhagram UP under Nandigram Police Station. Accused Md. Saju Mia (24), father-Md. Rafiqul Islam, Sang-Gulia Krishnapur, Thana-Nandigram, District-Bogra was arrested for consuming drugs from above in Khalian. On the other hand, Police Inspector Md. Mustafizur Rahman In-charge, Kumira Police Investigation Center, Nandigram Bogra and SI Md. Nurul Islam along with the force arrested accused Md. Dolan (34), father-Md. Yunus Ali, Sang-Chakkaya (Kamalagari), Thana-Nandigram, District-Bogra in a rape attempt case at approximately 01.10 hours on March 28. The accused have been sent to the learned court.
