After 21 hours of talks, Vance refused to elaborate and open discussions, but he noted that the main dispute was about nuclear weapons.
‘The simple thing is, we have to see a positive commitment that they don't want nuclear weapons and don't want any equipment that will enable them to acquire nuclear weapons quickly,’ Vance said.’
He also added that this is the main goal of the President (Donald Trump).

Vance asked a question, whether the Iranians have the will not to develop nuclear weapons in the long run, he gave a simple ‘no’ answer.
He said, ‘The simple question is, do we see a fundamental commitment to the Iranians’ willingness not to develop nuclear weapons — not just now, not just two years later, but for the long term? We haven't seen it yet, but we hope we can see it." Vance said.
Meanwhile, Iran insists that it is not trying to build a nuclear bomb, and that the US and Israel have bombed the site of the 28 February war and last year as well.
In response to a question from a journalist, Vance said that there were many other issues discussed, including if Iran's seized assets were discussed in the day-long discussion, but ‘we have not reached a situation where Iranians will be willing to accept our conditions.’
