Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has given various relief for motorcycle and vehicle owners-drivers. According to the latest emergency notification of BRTA, motor vehicle owners and drivers are getting special opportunities to update the documents and other related issues of the vehicle without penalty.
According to the notification, if the ownership does not change in the name of the new owner after the sale of the motorcycle or gai, the old owner may be in a kind of legal and financial danger. It is mandatory to change the ownership according to the Transport Act, 2018. If the ownership does not change, the old owner will have to bear the financial debt like this in advance, additional advance and environmental surcharge, but to reduce the suffering, the BRTA service port has to pay for the change in the house and the return of the current service through the BRTA service portal.
As part of the implementation of the Transport Act, 2018, the provision of deducting the faulty position in the driving license has also been effective. According to the law, 12 positions are allocated against each license and in case of violation of traffic law, the person will be deducted from the license in case of violation of traffic law.
