In Nandigram, a butcher hit a customer with a ramada for asking for less bone in the meat

Suman Kumar Nitai, Personal Correspondent: A butcher named Babu killed a customer named Rubel Hossain with ramda because he wanted less bone in beef in Nandigram of Bogra. The incident happened in Omarpurhat, the largest of the upazila. Rubel Hossain, who was injured by the butcher's meat cutting ram, was immediately sent to Bogra Shajimek Hospital for treatment.

In this incident, the victim Rubel Hossain filed a written complaint at the Nandigram police station. The injured Rubel Hossain is the son of Lutfar Rahman of Sarishabad village of Buril Union No. 1 of Upazila. According to the complaint, Rubel Hossain went to buy beef at Omarpur market on Friday (December 1st) around 11 am. If Babu goes to the butcher's shop and asks for one and a half kg of beef, Babu butcher gives more bones in the meat. Meanwhile, the buyer Rubel Hossain Babu asked the butcher to reduce the amount of bones in the meat. At one stage of the argument between the two, Babu Butcher attacked the customer Rubel Hossain with a sharp blade that he was holding. Rubel Hossain was seriously injured. Later, local buyers rescued Rubel and sent him to Bogra Shajimek Hospital for treatment.

In this incident, Babu Butcher ran away under the fire of the customers who came to the market. Later, the hut authorities came to the spot and brought the situation under control. The customers who came to the market said that there have been complaints against Babu Butcher for misbehaving with the customers and selling sick beef. A few days ago, Babu Butcher was fined by a mobile court for selling sick beef. Along with the administration, the shop authorities also demanded action against the accused Babu Butcher.

Asked about this incident, Nandigram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azamgir Hossain said that the complaint will be investigated and legal action will be taken soon.
