Staff Reporter: Khoka's sons Abdul Wahab (32), Sohag (30), Abdul Wahab's wife Makshuda Begum (25) and deceased Abdus Chamad Khoka's mother due to previous enmity in Para village in Gurtup Nagar, Mahishaban Union of Gabtali Upazila, Bogra. 4 people including his wife Rubia Begum (60) were seriously injured. Two of them were admitted to Mohammad Ali Hospital and the other two were admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (Shajimec) Hospital and Milon Mia (26) appeared at Gabtali Model Police Station as the plaintiff and filed a case.
According to the source of the case, Manik Mia (23), Hanif (26), Delwar Hossain (32) and his wife Delo Begum (50) and Yunuch Ali (65), son of deceased Bane Sonar, of the same village of Gabtali Mahishaban Union, were killed. As a result of enmity, at 06.05 in the evening of March 19, the accused armed with iron rods, bamboo sticks and wooden batons came to the house of the plaintiff and attacked his family members.

At that time, when the plaintiff's brothers Ah Wahab (32) and Sohag (30) asked to know the reason for the abuse of the two accused, the accused became angry and attacked them with the intention of killing them. After inflicting grievous and painful injuries on Thila Phula, the said accused again left with threats of various forms of intimidation including murder. Later, the local people rescued the injured and admitted them to the hospital.
In the said attack, Ah Wahab received 7 stitches on his left cheek, Sohag's right wrist bone was broken, Rubia Begum received 11 stitches on the important bloody cut on her head, and Makchuda Begum received 5 stitches on her right hand. At present, the injured persons are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
In this regard, Gabtali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter and said that the case has been investigated and legal action will be taken.
