Last Tuesday morning, Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced the price of gold in the country's market in a notification. This time, the organization has fixed the price of 22 carat gold of 22 carat 2 lakh 21 thousand 441 taka for 1 thousand 33 taka.
The new price came into effect from 10:30 am on Tuesday and gold will be sold at the same price on Wednesday.
The release said that the price of Tejabi gold (Pure Gold) has increased in the local market, which has resulted in a new price of gold, including VAT, considering the overall situation.
According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold with VAT (11.664 grams) will be Tk 2 lakh 21 thousand 441. Apart from this, the price of 21 carat gold will be Tk 2 lakh 11 thousand 468, 181 thousand 608 taka per 18 carat and 1 lakh 48 thousand 366 taka per 18 carat gold.
Bajus also knows that the price will remain in place until the next announcement, but the wages will be applicable according to the design of the ornaments.
