On Friday afternoon, two construction workers died while working in the septic tank of the house under the construction of Ratan Doctor in Jhikuti Para of Noapara Union of Raujan.
The deceased are Pradeep Das of Kachukhain area of Raujan and Sameeran Das of Kadurkhil area of Boalkhali.
According to the locals, after Pradeep landed in the septic tank around 12:30 noon, the gas accumulated in the tank had been closed for a long time. He fell ill and was unconscious after getting down to rescue him and the fire service was taken to the hospital and the doctor declared them dead.
