Renowned filmmaker and media personality Hasibur Reza Kallol has received an Honorary Doctorate (Honorary PhD) degree in recognition of his long-standing contribution to Bengali culture, film, media and humanitarian activities.
Recently, he presented this award to him at an international convocation ceremony held in Nath Delhi, India.
According to the Ajak authorities, this award has been given to him for his important role in the development of cultural values, creative arts, media development and social welfare activities.
Hasibur Reza Kallol has been actively associated with the film, television and media sector of Bangladesh for many years. He has established himself as one of the leading cultural figures in the country through film production, media as a top executive and cultural organizer.
He gained wide acclaim and recognition for his career in the popular Bangladeshi film ‘Satta’, which has been a multi-faceted film, and a multi-faceted creative production in his career.
Currently, he is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the private television channel of the country, ‘Channel Nine’, and has previously held an important position in the editorial and management level of various top media outlets of the country.
The national and social media workers have congratulated him on his achievement in the international arena, and the people concerned believe that this achievement will brighten the image of Bangladesh's creative and cultural arena in the world.
