The price of gold in the country's gold market has been affected by the decline in the global market price. The price of gold has decreased by the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) 5 thousand 482 taka, which has been fixed at 229,373 taka.
Bajus said in a notification on Saturday (June 6) morning that the new price will be effective from 10 am today.
According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold will be 2 lakh 29 thousand 373 taka per bhari (11.664 grams) in the country's market. Besides, the price of 21 carat gold will be 2 lakh 18 thousand 933 taka, 187 thousand 674 taka per 18 carat and 1 lakh 52 thousand 857 taka per load of traditional gold.
Earlier, Bajus had adjusted the price of gold in the country's market last June 2 on the morning of June 2. He had reduced by 3,266 rupees to the same full.
Bajus knows that the price of Tejabi gold (Pure Gold) has fallen in the local market, and the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation.
So far this year, the price of gold has been combined 71 times in the country's market so far this year, where the price has been reduced by 37 points and has been reduced to 34 points.
Meanwhile, silver prices have decreased along with gold, according to the new price, per bhari (11.664 grams) of 22 carat silver will be priced at Tk 5,249. In addition, the price of 21 carats is Tk 4,957 per 1 carat, 4 thousand 257 rupees per 18 carat and the price of silver is Tk 3,208 per traditional method.
Earlier, the price of silver was adjusted on June 2. The price of one 22 carat silver was reduced by Tk 117 and the price of 22 carats was fixed at Tk 5,657.
Besides, the price of 21 carats per 5 thousand 365 taka, 18 carat 4 thousand 607 taka and traditional method 3 thousand 441 taka per load of silver will be fixed from 10 am that day.
In this year, the price of silver has been coordinated 42 points in the country's market so far, where the price has been reduced by 22 points; the remaining 20 points have been reduced. In 2025, the price of silver was combined 13 times in the country's market. In which the price of silver was 10 times, and it was reduced only 3 times.
