The bodies of a disabled youth found under the railway line in Lalpur

The police recovered the body of a disabled youth named Ashiq (28) from a bridge on the railway line in Natore, which took place under bridge No. 213 in Patikabai area between Azimnagar railway station and Ishwardi bypass station of the upazila on Tuesday morning.

The deceased Ashiq is the son of Mahasin Ali of Baidyanathpur Mohalla of Gopalpur Municipality of Lalpur Upazila, family sources said that he was born disabled.

According to police and local sources, on Tuesday morning, local people reported the body of a man under a bridge near the railway line and informed the police.

Initially, it is believed that he may have died in the early hours of the Panchagja Express train from Dhaka to Panchag, but an investigation is underway to confirm the true cause of death.

In this case, Ishwardi Railway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Gitaur Rahman said, ‘The police reached the spot after the news. After the recovery of the body, legal action will be taken."
