BNP candidate was punished for entering the election field

Chittagong District BNP has been fined Tk 50,000 after the arrival of the constituency in the large garrison area. After the announcement of the schedule, the first action was taken in Chittagong regarding the violation of the electoral code of conduct.
On Saturday (December 13) afternoon, the candidate of Lohagaza Upazila of the district Nazmul Mostafa Amin, the candidate of BNP, was fined.
The upazila executive magistrate Mong has given this order to ensure the compliance of the election code of conduct.
On December 4, BNP announced Nazmul Mustafa Amin as their candidate in Chittagong-15 (Satkanita-Lohagaza) seat and he has come to the election field for the first time as a new candidate.
In this regard, Lohagaza Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mong Echne said, ‘Nazmul Mostafa Amin from Chittagong to Satkanita Upazila is Lohagazat Battali Station area. He himself was in a jeep, with hundreds of motorcycles, jeeps, private cars, and other gadgets in front and back. After the announcement of the schedule, such a motor procession was a violation of the election code of conduct.’
‘Besides the fine, they have been warned to follow the code of conduct.’
