On the great day of the day, the free blood group determination program was held in Bancharampur Blood Bank and the overall cooperation of the upazila administration with the slogan ‘Blood Din, Jeevan Save’ in front.
On Tuesday (December 16), the day-long program was organized at Bancharampur Upazila Parishad premises.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ferdous Ara was present as the chief guest in the program, Bancharampur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Isachin, Upazila Election Officer Nadiruzzaman, Upazila Women's Bishtok Officer Rabeta Sultana Eva and Assistant Engineer of Public Health Engineering Directorate Abu Sittam were also present as special guests.
Under the leadership of Bancharampur Blood Bank founder Ashiqur Rahman Babu, Shahrir Naeem, Saiful Islam Sajjad, Tanha Sarkar, Arju Hasan, Fatsal Ahmed and other volunteers of the organization actively cooperated in the blood group determination program.
The speakers said that blood donation is a noble and humane act. If you have the blood donation and awareness of your own blood group, you can save precious lives in an emergency.
The day-long program was attended by various women and men spontaneously and freed their blood group, and the participants expressed their satisfaction with the initiative of the Agjakars.
