Chairman Sohel pays tribute on the occasion of the great Victory Day in Godagari

Rajshahi Bureau: The newly elected Chairman of Deopara Union No. 7, Md. Belal Uddin Sohel, celebrated the Great Victory Day and its 50th Golden Jubilee with deep respect. As the sun rose, he paid tribute to the brave martyrs at the Shaheed Minar of Rajabari Hat High School in Godagari Upazila and laid a wreath.
On December 16 (Thursday), hundreds of people led a joy rally in the early morning, giving Mujibiya salute to the brave freedom fighters who participated in the great liberation war of 1971. At the end of the rally, tributes were paid to the brave martyrs. In response to the questions and answers of journalists after the tributes, the newly elected chairman Sohel said, today is our day of joy. On this day, the Pakistani invaders surrendered on the soil of Bengal and our red-green flag was displayed in golden light. I believe in the great liberation war, I believe in the ideals of Bangabandhu. People's leader Sheikh Hasina has given me the responsibility of the boat in this union, I will maintain the value of the boat even if I give my blood. By joining the continuous development of the current government, namely the Awami League, I will strengthen the hands of people's leader Sheikh Hasina from this union, God willing. Let us all take an oath on this day of victory that we will all work together to build the Golden Bengal desired by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the dreamer of the Bengali nation. He will also work towards ensuring that the new generation of the future can grow up with the ideals of Mujibur Rahman.
