The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Child Violence Prevention Tribunal Masroor Salekin will announce the verdict of this much-discussed case.
On the occasion of the announcement of the Rata, the main accused in the case, Sohel Rana, was brought to the court in Dhaka from Kashimpur Central Jail this morning in Keraniganj Central Jail and their wife Swapna Akhtar has been brought to the court of Dhaka.
Earlier, the court had fixed today for the purpose of the case after presenting the arguments of the case last Thursday (June 4).
Azizur Rahman, Special Public Prosecutor of the State, said, ‘We have been able to prove the crime against the accused in the court. We believe that the victim's family will get the desired justice through this verdict.’
It is known from the complaint that Ramisa was a second class student of Model High School in Popular Model High School. When she left the house around 9 am on May 19, Swapna took her to her room.
At around 10:00 a.m. that morning, his mother started searching for Ramisa to send her to school, and at one point she saw the child's shoes in front of the accused's room.
After the call, Ramissa's parents and other residents of the building broke the door and entered the house of the accused, where they found the child's fragmented body.
After receiving the news through the Jati Emergency Service 999, the police took Swapna into custody at the spot. Later, Sohail Rana was arrested in front of Fatulla police station in Naratanganj.
In this incident, Ramisa's father Abdul Hannan Molla Pallabi Thana filed a case on May 20. The case was made accused by the police and the police arrested them.
On May 20, the main accused in the case, Sohel Rana (30), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Islam, confessed to Junad's court and gave his statement. On the same day, the court ordered Sohail's wife Swapna Akhtar (26) to be sent to jail.
After the investigation, on May 24, the investigating officer of the case and SI Ahiduzzaman of Pallabi police station filed a charge sheet against them in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashraful Haque. On the same day, Judge Masru Salekin of the Dhaka Metropolitan Child Violence Tribunal took the charge sheet into account.
On June 1, Judge Masrur Salekin filed charges against the accused, and 16 of the 18 witnesses in the case charged, testifying at the tribunal, which is the court today.
