Bhatara 20 stolen motorcycles recovered, 8 arrested

Police have recovered 20 stolen motorcycles in Bhatara Thana area of the capital, which has been arrested by the police of the gang of motorcycle robbers.

The arrested are Sohail (42), Ripon (45), Rabbi (28), Saeded (25), Maruf (30), Ashiq (22), Sohail (36) and Jamal (52).

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Midita and Public Relations Department on Tuesday (July 21) night confirmed the poison.

He said that on June 24, a man named Al-Amin was stolen from the gate of an area of Bhatara police station and the case was filed in Bhatara police station when the police started investigating the case.

In the investigation of the case, the detectives with information and information technology have been arrested on June 24, June 28 and July 1 in various parts of the country including the capital. Sohail (42), Ripon (45), Rabbi (28) and Satad (25) were arrested.

Later, after the investigation of the deota information of the arrested, the investigation continued on Monday (July 20) and more raids were conducted in various areas of the capital and the country. Maruf (30), Ashiq (22), Sohail (36) and Jamal (52) were arrested in the raid. 11 more stolen motorcycles were recovered from their custody.

According to the police, during the initial interrogation, the arrested persons admitted to being active members of an organized motorcycle thief gang, they had been stealing motorcycles from different areas of the capital including Bhatara for a long time with each other's connivance.

The police have said that the arrested have been sent to court.
