90 MT of 200 Metric Tons Imported at Benapole Land Port

After three months, the import of Pajaj from India through Benapole land port has resumed, while the ship's shipment has entered Benapole land port at Petrapol port in India.

On Monday (December 15) around 2 pm, this shipment of import of Paj from M/s HCA Enterprise, Satkhira and M/s Sabah Enterprises, Jessore entered Bangladesh.

Shyamal Kumar Nath, Deputy Assistant Officer of Benapole Plant Contactment Center, said that the Ministry of Commerce has allowed the import of pajaja from India. But it is in a small scale. 200 importers will get IP and one importer can import 30-60 tons of pajamas. The government has requested the government to open an IP (import permit) for the import of IP (import permit) and the price of the country will be reduced in the market.

Benapole Port Director Shamim Hossain said that 90 metric tons of onion has entered Bangladesh in three trucks from India through Benapole port today. Some more onion carts are in the Petropol port on the other side, they will gradually enter Bangladesh and all measures are being taken to clear the shipment of onion from the port quickly.

Meanwhile, ordinary buyers feel that the price of pajaz will come down in the market due to the news of import.
