We don't want the resignation of the chief advisor: Nur

People's Rights Council President Nurul Haque Nur said, "We do not want the resignation of the chief advisor. However, now, to restore democracy in Bangladesh, the advisory council must be reorganized by removing controversial advisors." He made these remarks at a discussion on the 13th national election to establish democracy and human rights on Saturday.

Commenting on the cracks in the unity that had developed around the July mass uprising, Nur said, "The chief advisor is upset with the students. Genocide trials, state reforms, elections are all necessary. But there are no good answers when talking about elections. The chief advisor is surrounded by the evil circle of One Eleven."

Noor said, the crisis will not end if there is an unelected government in Bangladesh. A specific roadmap for elections is needed to end the crisis. He said, how is the decision on the corridor made without discussing it with the political parties! National dialogues have been held before on various issues, but why is it not being called now?
