The danger is not completely over, be careful: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that although there has been a change in the cause of the student uprising, the danger has not completely passed. Urging to be careful in this regard, he said to the countrymen, 'All of you will be alert, be careful. The danger is not over. There is a possibility of new dangers. The conspiracy to hurt and destroy democracy is going on again.' 

He said this at a discussion meeting at the National Press Club of the capital on Tuesday afternoon. 

National Women's Party organized the meeting in front of 'November 7 Historical National Revolution and National Solidarity Day'. Under the chairmanship of the central president of the organizing organization, Afroza Abbas, and moderated by the general secretary, Sultana Ahmed, BNP chairperson's adviser Tahsina Rushdie, Luna and others spoke.

Mirza Fakhrul called for quick elections after completing the necessary reforms and said, we all have formed an interim government. They have been entrusted with the hope that they will complete the necessary reforms and hold elections as soon as possible. An elected government is the best government. Election is the door of democracy, we have to go through that door to the path of democracy. 

He said that the heroes of the November 7, 1975 revolution were ordinary soldiers and people. The revolution of 7 November created the possibility of rebuilding Bangladesh anew. It is impossible to say what would have happened to the fate of this country if martyred President Ziaur Rahman had not taken charge after November 7. Ziaur Rahman's leadership united the divided nation. He brought the country from darkness to light.

Mirza Fakhrul called on the leaders and workers to be alert and aware, said that the monster that was pressing in the chest has moved away. The danger is not over, there is a possibility of new danger. BNP has always been hit. We have to be vigilant.
