Miscreants have torn down posters of independent candidates in the 1st Burail UP election in Nandigram. It has been reported in the complaint that Ziaur Rahman Zia, an independent candidate (auto rickshaw) in the 1st Burail Union UP election in Nandigram Upazila, told this correspondent that the election is going to be held in the 1st Burail Union of Nandigram Upazila on June 15. All the candidates for the said election are campaigning, suddenly on Friday night, I got news that someone had torn down my auto rickshaw brand posters out of revenge. My workers from different areas said that all the posters inside the village from Ailpunia, Banglabazar, and Muradpur Bazar of the union have been torn down. Knowing that my victory is certain in the next 15th election, miscreants have torn down my posters out of revenge, the matter has been reported verbally to the administration and election office. When contacted, Upazila Election Officer Abdus Salam said that Ziaur Rahman had verbally complained about the tearing of Zia's posters.
