The Upazila Agriculture Office was the first to participate in the fair organized to mark the Liberation Festival and Golden Jubilee of Independence in Nandigram, Bogra. In this fair, which was held from March 17 to March 23, 32 government and private departments presented their departmental activities at the fair, highlighting the successes and achievements of Bangladesh in 50 years. Among all the stalls, the stall of the Agriculture Office was worth seeing. They highlighted various agricultural technologies and various progress of Bangladesh in agriculture in fifty years. National flag in crop picture, map in crop picture, boat loaded with vegetables, Kalikapur model vegetable cultivation, floating seedbed, mulching paper usage method, perching method, vegetable cultivation in hanging method, roof farming model, vertical method of more vegetable cultivation in less space, plant doctor, agricultural IT services, etc. There was a huge crowd of visitors and agricultural service recipients at the stall of the Agriculture Department. Farmer Shri Balai Chandra of Katham village said, we have learned many agricultural technologies by seeing them at the stall of the Agriculture Office and we will use them in the field. Md. Afzal Hossain, a farmer from Nizamatkuri village, said, "I learned fertilizer recommendations online after coming to the fair. Now I will be able to use fertilizer in the right amount on the land." Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Adnan Babu said, "At the Liberation Festival and Golden Jubilee Fair, we have highlighted various achievements of Bangladesh in the agricultural sector and modern agricultural technologies. We are providing direct agricultural services to the visitors coming to the fair. This fair is a reflection of agricultural inspiration for the agriculture and farmers of Nandigram."
