New OC Azamgir Hossain joins Nandigram

Suman Kumar Nitai, Staff Correspondent: Newly appointed Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azamgir Hossain has joined Nandigram, Bogra. On the other hand, OC Anwar Hossain has been transferred to Dhaka CID Headquarters in an order.

Newly appointed OC Azamgir Hossain (November 11) took over as the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nandigram Police Station from outgoing OC Anwar Hossain on Saturday afternoon. He was welcomed by other police officers of the police station with a bouquet of flowers.

It is learnt that Azamgir Hossain, the OC of Sherpur Police Station in Bogra, was in charge of the investigation. Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, the Superintendent of Police of Bogra district and (recently promoted Additional DIG) joined Nandigram Police Station as OC on the instructions of BPM PPM Bar.

Azamgir Hossain was born in a respectable Muslim family in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district. After joining Nandigram police station, the newly appointed OC Azamgir Hossain said that he will strive to suppress all types of criminal activities in the upazila and improve the law and order situation. He sought everyone's overall cooperation in this regard.
