BSC Managing Director Commodore Mahmudul Malek confirmed the poison, saying that they have returned home by plane from the port of Durban in South Africa.

BSC General Manager (Ship Personel Division) Captain G.R. Rahman said that the ship is currently running its scheduled commercial operations, after the next product is cleared and loaded, it will leave the port of Durban in the next few days, after which the ship's potential destination is Maleshita. The remaining 14 Bangladeshi sailors will return to the country after reaching the ship.
He also said that the decision to bring 17 people back to the country in the first step has been given importance to their physical and mental health.
