However, in his personal life, the singer has been in the news for drug abuse, assaulting his wife, getting drunk at concerts, and making disparaging remarks about senior singers on Facebook. He has also served time in jail several times for these.
A video of Mainul Ahsan Noble dragging a woman down a flight of stairs has recently gone viral on social media. The girl's parents were able to recognize him after watching the video. They later called the national emergency service '999' to report the incident. Last Monday (May 19) at around 10 pm, police raided a house in Demra and rescued the girl.
Demra Police Station OC Mahmudur Rahman told the media that Nobel called a student in Gulshan last November, promising to meet her. He promised to marry her. Later, he was detained in a house in Demra for seven months. During this time, he tortured and regularly raped the student. Nobel recorded these incidents on his mobile phone. Police claim that he 'blackmailed' the Eden student with that video.
Later, on the night of May 19, Nobel was arrested from Demra. Demra Police Station OC Mahmudur Rahman claimed that Nobel planned to flee the country across the border after sensing the presence of the police. For this, he rented a microbus. However, he was arrested before he could escape. A case has been filed against Nobel on charges of rape and torture of women. In addition, a case has been filed against the controversial artist under the Pornography Act for allegedly blackmailing the student by recording a video of the rape. The victim, a female student, is currently undergoing treatment at the 'One-Stop Crisis Center' of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, OC Mahmudur Rahman said.
Meanwhile, Nobel's lawyer Md. Jasimuddin told a media outlet that the incident shown against Nobel in court was seven months ago. In fact, the plaintiff in this case is Nobel's married wife. They got married voluntarily on November 24 last year. The girl is four months pregnant. Maybe she filed the case due to family disputes. The accused wants to live with the plaintiff. They have no objection if bail is granted on the condition of compromise or in the plaintiff's custody.
The previous incident was in 2019. His fans were hopeful that he would be the champion in the 'Sare Ga Ma Pa' show. But in the final judgment, Zee Bangla authorities declared him third. Nobel had spoken out against the judges in that incident. He said that the judges did not have the authority to judge his song. Zee Bangla channel suspended him in this incident.

Then on May 20, 2023, Nobel was taken to the Intelligence Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. At that time, DMP Additional Commissioner (Intelligence) Mohammad Harun Or Rashid told the media that his wife had accused Nobel of torture. Therefore, he will be questioned.
Earlier, on April 27, he appeared in a concert to mark the golden jubilee of Fulbari Degree College in Kurigram while intoxicated. He alleged that Nobel called Ethun Babu a thief in a post on his Facebook page 'Nobel Man'. In that post, Nobel wrote, 'Ethun Babu is a thief. He has played other people's songs under his own name.' This is why Ethun Babu got angry and filed a case against Nobel.
On May 17, 2021, Nobel was angered when Soami TV's entertainment journalist Al Kacher did a report about him.
