The RAB DG said these things while talking to reporters after inspecting the security system of the capital's National Eidgah Maidan on Tuesday (May 26) morning.
Md. Ahsan Habib Palash said, "The RAB has made extensive security preparations in coordination with other law enforcement agencies on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. We have not experienced any threats so far, but our own special security measures are in strong.
He said that special measures have been taken to protect the security in the main congregations of Eid. Search activities are being conducted by setting up mobile checkposts in important places.
Regarding the security of the empty capital in the empty capital centered on Eid, RAB DG said that during Eid, the crowd in various cities including the capital has decreased and crimes like theft, robbery and robbery are reduced. The number of night security posts has been increased to deal with this situation, while also enhancing night patrols at all metropolitan cities, districts and upazilas.
