In a large gathering of Iranian expatriates in Munich, Germany, former Prince and opposition leader Reza Pahlavi said he is ready to lead a secular democratic system in Iran.
On Saturday, he addressed the rally at the thergesitnviz mound in Munich, where two lakh people attended the rally, demanding the removal of the current rulers of Iran.
‘I am here to ensure a transformation towards a secular and democratic future,’ said Reza Pahlavi.’
‘I am committed to leading this transformation for you, so that one day we can determine the future of our country through a transparent and democratic process,’ he said.
Reza Pahlavi, the son of former Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has been a critic of the current Islamic Republic of the government for a long time, and has been living in exile since the fall of the monarchy through the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
