Nandigram's Isan joins Portuguese company after completing post-graduation in England

Suman Kumar Nitai, Staff Correspondent: Abu Iftiar alias Isan, who was not stuck in the web of time and was immersed in thinking about something new, was born into a respectable Muslim Akanda family in Birpoli village of Nandigram upazila of Bogra.

Abu Iftiar Isan lost his father at a very young age, but he did not lose his will to do good, his determination, and his humanity. From his deep love for the poor and suffering people since his childhood, he has played a special role in the advancement of education in Nandigram as well as in Shajahanpur, by distributing sugar and sugarcane with his own funds, donating blood, being a member of the Friends Blood Donor Club, and participating in various social activities.

Isan started his education at Sherpur Vidyabithi School in Bogra and completed his secondary education at Gohail School in Shajahanpur and successfully passed his SSC examination from Nandigram Pilot High School in 2010. Later, he passed his HSC in 2012 from Government Shah Sultan College in Bogra and got admitted to B.Sc in Electronic and Electronics Engineering at Daffodil International University in Dhaka. From there, he received a scholarship and completed his internship including the last semester at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Chennai, India.

Then he joined a private company in Dhaka for a few days. He resigned from his low-paying job and, without getting discouraged during the Corona period, started planning to do something better. With that aim, he moved to the UK for higher education in 2021. He successfully completed his post-graduation from England's top-ranked university, 'University of Portsmouth'.

Apart from studying, his hobby is traveling around the country and abroad. Abu Iftiar Isan said that he has already traveled to 18 countries in the European Union and plans to travel to all the other countries in the world.

Isan currently lives in Central London and is permanently employed by a reputable multinational Portuguese company.

When asked what kind of development he wants to make in the country and his area in the future, Abu Iftiar Isan said that he has plans to work on education and health in Bangladesh and expressed his strong determination to play a major role in the overall socio-economic development of Nandigram.
